This sketchbook, from the former collection of Dr. Paul Alexandre, dates from the time before Amedeo Modigliani and Paul Alexandre met (1906-1907). It contains 100 pages, 32 of which were left blank. The drawings are either in black crayon or in black crayon over lead pencil.
